What Residential Tile Installation Covers

Residential tile installation encompasses every tiled surface in a home. That includes bathroom floors and walls, kitchen floors, entryways, laundry rooms, and any other surface where tile is the right choice.

We handle jobs of all sizes. A single bathroom floor and a whole-house tile project both get the same level of attention at the substrate stage.

Every residential job we take starts with a site visit. We check for deflection in the subfloor, moisture levels in wet areas, and whether existing surfaces need to be removed or can be tiled over. That assessment shapes everything that follows.

How We Approach a Residential Job

01

Substrate Assessment

We check the subfloor for flex, levelness, and moisture. Tile over a bouncy floor cracks. We address the substrate before any tile is ordered.

02

Material Selection Support

We help you understand the difference between porcelain, ceramic, and natural stone for your specific application. Not all tiles work in all conditions.

03

Dry Layout

Before mortar is mixed, we lay the tile out dry. We find the visual center of the room, plan all cuts, and confirm the pattern reads correctly from the main entry point.

04

Setting and Grouting

We use the correct thinset mortar for the tile type and substrate. Large-format tiles need back-buttering. We do not skip steps to save time.

05

Seal and Cleanup

Natural stone and porous grout get sealed. We clean the site, remove debris, and leave the space ready to use.
